Jonathan Mills

I am the Regional TSM&O Engineer for the West Central Region of the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT). I began my career with ALDOT in 2010 in the Materials Section where I oversaw materials testing.  I made the transition to the TSM&O world in 2016, when I accepted the position of Area Traffic Engineer and then a few years later made the transition to Regional TSM&O Engineer.  Our Region established a TSM&O program in 2017, and since then we opened a Traffic Management Center, established a Regional Traffic Operations Program, worked in partnership with the University of Alabama to implement Traffic Signal Performance Measures and were awarded an Advanced Transportation and Congestion Management Technologies Deployment Grant from USDOT.
