Luke Miller

My name is Luke Miller and I am from Nitro West Virginia, I graduated from West Virginia University in 2019 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering. I am currently working as a Highway Engineer Trainee at the West Virginia Department of Highways headquarters in Traffic Engineering. I have worked for just shy of 2 years. My day to day work mostly consists of doing Traffic Impact Study reviews and coordinating special events and improving work zones with the occasional trips to the field to perform my sections own in-house speed or traffic impact studies. I am an Eagle Scout and an avid outdoorsman who enjoys spending as much time outside whether it be kayaking, mountain biking, or hiking. I am also a prominent member of my local running community, being a part of a local distance racing team and competing in a variety of local events at various distances.
