National Operations Center of Excellence | 2025 TSMO Awards

The winning projects from the 2025 TSMO Awards have now been developed into full case studies and are available to read. These projects showcase how transportation systems management and operations (TSMO) can address critical challenges, improve agency performance, and drive innovation across the industry.

Each case study highlights a category-winning project—from effective emergency response and agency transformation to cutting-edge technology applications and cybersecurity initiatives. Together, they offer a valuable resource for knowledge transfer and inspiration for TSMO professionals nationwide.

The 2025 Overall Winner will be selected from these category winners and announced at the NOCoE luncheon during the CTSO Annual Meeting at the end of July. That project will also be featured in a dedicated video and promoted to the broader transportation community.

Read the case studies below to explore how leading agencies are advancing TSMO across the country.
