5000 College Ave, Suite 2200 Technology Ventures Building College Park, MD 20742
Short Bio: I have been working in the advanced transportation industry for 26 years and have been at the University of Maryland for 21 of them. My job is never boring since I work on a variety of programs that are constantly evolving. The University of Maryland hired me back in 1999 to help develop and manage the CITE program which offers online advanced transportation courses. Since the initial offering in March 2007, I have been part of the leadership team that develops and manages the Operations Academy Senior Management Program. In 2012, the TRB put out an RFP to bring a one week version of the Operations Academy around the country on a regional basis. I was the Principal Investigator for that SHRP2 project under which the Regional Operations Forums (ROFs) were originally developed and delivered. Totally different from those activities, I am also the Marketing Manager for UMD’s Project Management Center for Excellence under the Civil Engineering Department and I also work with the I-95 Corridor Coalition on their vehicle probe project.
