I highly recommend this program to everybody working in the field of transportation operations. Not only did I learn about everything TSMO, I also learned a lot about myself, my communication style, to identify the communication styles of others, how to present better and more effective, and I was also able to build great relationships with other TSMO leaders around the country. I am sure I, my agency, and the citizens of my State, will benefit from me attending this program.
I would recommend this class for others, it helped open my eyes to the bigger picture and know that I’m not alone in the problems we are facing. There are others out there that can help, no need to face it alone.

The Operations Academy was a great learning experience for someone like me who was just entering the TSMO field. Although I didn’t know a lot about what was being discussed or presented, it provided a portal into what I could use or questions I could ask about operations within my Agency. The wide variety of topics provided a refresher for topics I was familiar with and a new opportunity to learn about topics that were new to me. Whether new or old to TSMO, I would recommend the operations academy to everyone in a field associated with it!
With more congestion than ever on our roadways, we have to look to technology to help us move that traffic in a safe and efficient manner. The Operations Academy is a great resource and teaches participants how best to utilize and implement those tools that will help us accomplish that goal.
