Completing the Hybrid Operations Academy has been transformative. The insights and skills I gained are directly applicable to enhancing our agency’s efficiency and response capabilities. The program’s practical approach and expert guidance are invaluable, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to elevate their operational effectiveness.
This program has taught me several strategies to improve my agency’s operations, even in low-traffic, rural, and uncongested areas. I learned a lot about what other states are doing to improve safety and mobility in unconventional and innovative ways. It was great to meet so many people who are moving the traffic and operations world forward and looking towards the future. It was inspiring to see how far other states have come with their traffic incident management programs and to see the technology that is out there that we can start using right now. It was impressive to see how much Maryland DOT has accomplished with their Traffic Management Center. Overall, an excellent program I would recommend for every DOT to attend.

Prepare to invest 120+ total hours into the program, and expect to gain in-demand skills and knowledge.

The Operations Academy was an incredible training. The highly varied backgrounds of instructors and attendees alike, spanning several disciples as well as academic backgrounds and professional experience, all had one overarching goal–working together to make our highways safer. Students left inspired to more openly work across disciplines and organizational borders, and to constantly improve their respective agencies.
